TEFL assignment

1.    1.  Based on your understanding about first language, second language, and foreign language, what is bahasa Indonesia according to you? How about English? Give your reason? (30 words)

According to me, bahasa Indonesia is National language which just used by Indonesian peoples. I learned bahasa indonesia when I was Elementary School and I difficult use bahasa Indonesia truly, because influence by mother tongue. English is International language which use in the world.if we know English language we can around in the world and easy to communicate with the other country.

2.   2.   Have you ever stayed or lived out of your hometown whose people speak other language (s) than you? If so, how did the environment influence and encourage you learn the language (s)? if no, have you ever had a friend (s) who had this kind of experience? Explain your answer. (40 word)

Yes I ever, in my campus have influence and encourage me to learn about the other language,because many ethnic. Yes, I have friend and they tell about their experiences when they stayed out their hometown and they tell about culture,the society and language, because different with in their hometown.

3.    3.  As teacher or future teacher, how do you see the role of method, design, procedure, and approach, to assist you in conducting the teaching and learning process? (30 word)

I think the role of method, design, procedure, and approach is very important in teaching and  learning process, because with there are them we will be easy to reach the goal. By using method, design, procedure, and approach will be easy in convey the lesson and will be effective and will get good result.

4.      4. What does it mean by begin with the end in mind? What is the importance of having this motto for a teacher? Can you give example of applying this (40 word)

Begin with the end in mind is the purpose us to do something and with we have the purpose we will be easy to do what we want. Very important,because with have motto the teacher will more effort to do be better match with their motto.

With method we will easy to reach goal and teaching and learning process will systematic and more effective. With method we can be more creative in make media of study.

2.      When I was Senior High School my teacher used Traditional method ,so my teacher just explain about tenses and give example, after that my teacher ask us to do the duty. And give text to translated. In English class there are no speaking, listening, pronunciation, etc. So in English class I feel bored.
